Position: Marketing Strategist – Optimization Location: Delray Beach, FL Reports to: Marketing Strategy Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all initiatives geared towards increasing conversion rate and average order/margin value for all of our clients.
  • Analyze data and custom reporting to understand how consumers are behaving and engaging on the sites; develop strategies and executable recommendations to optimize them.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Campaign Ops and Marketing Strategy Manager to strategize, plan, and execute numerous A/B and multivariate tests for all clients.
  • Consistently increase on-site performance including conversion rates, up/cross-sell take rates, average order value, profitability, and more.
  • Analyze client’s previous/current campaigns, customer analytics, and digital strategy to fully understand the current landscape, what to leverage and how to improve.
  • Closely monitor market, customer needs, and trends – translate them into future USP enhancements/experiences.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Creative, and Traffic teams to gain a deep understanding of how all steps in the consumer journey can assist in achieving your goals. This includes: funnel strategy, offer strategy, messaging strategy, content strategy, advertising/click strategy, and more.
  • Work closely with copywriters, UX and UI designers, developers, project managers, and partner managers to flawlessly execute growth strategies.
  • Conduct usability tests to improve conversion rates and reduce usability issues.
  • Liaise with various managers, team members, and outside agencies to implement strategy (design, copy, video, and more).
  • Attend brainstorming sessions with the marketing team for new products, innovative content ideas (videos, images, angles, etc…) for all campaign launches.
  • Identify and present innovative and creative initiatives to drive sales and improve customer experience with the aim of exceeding sales targets.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
 

Key Qualifications:

  • 4+ yrs experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, web strategy, optimization, and knowledge of some or most of the following.
  • Proven experience running high-impact Optimization Tests (A/B and multivariate).
  • Deep knowledge of Optimization Platforms, idea logging, and feedback loops.
  • Strong ability to review data, draw conclusions, present solutions and take action on the next steps.
  • Familiar with basic marketing principles – target segmentation, category, value proposition, positioning, and brand strategy.
  • Intimate knowledge of Google Analytics and other web-related platforms.
  • Direct response (nice to have) and e-commerce experience.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Operationally sound and technologically capable to understand, identify and help solve technical and operational issues related to Optimizations.
  • High-attention-to-detail, flexibility, follow-through and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure; efficiently deal with multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Adapt successfully to change in a cutting-edge, emerging environment.
