The Affiliate Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities involved with affiliate publishing of GiddyUp advertising campaigns. He/she will work closely with the Director of Publishing, Sales Team and Management to ensure success for both the affiliate and advertiser.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

The main responsibilities for the Affiliate Manager are –

  1. Recruit new affiliates through research, referrals and other avenues
  2. Manage numerous clients through daily email/Skype/phone interactions
  3. Maintain high level of communication with affiliates, recommend new campaigns for affiliates and provide performance feedback to advertiser team
  4. Supply creative packages, links and reporting to affiliates as needed
  5. Monitor affiliate activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase affiliate-generated revenues
  6. Communicate and monitor compliance or brand guidelines in affiliate channel
  7. Proactively monitor traffic sources on all campaigns
  8. Represent GiddyUp at industry conferences
 

Qualifications

 

The Affiliate Manager must have highly developed selling and customer-relations skills. They also must have the ability to navigate complex situations and personalities, be adaptable and a commitment to the highest standard of integrity.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or related field and 2 years sales/account representative experience OR 3-5 years sales/account representative experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, multifaceted organization
  • Team player
  • Self-starter and work well within a team environment
  • Strong desire to succeed and grow and aptitude to learn
  • Readily engages others and enjoys building and developing relationships
  • Comfortable in uncomfortable situations
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written)
  • Remains calm in stressful situations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic and non-routine working environment
  • Strong recruitment and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and build client relationships
  • Experience in a sales or marketing field
  • Desire to learn and ability to adapt to changing routines and software
  • Strong analytical skills
